• All Planning Applications can be viewed on line. All residents are welcome to attend the Parish Council Meeting to discuss any application. Dates and times of these meetings can be found on the Meetings Calendar page.
• The Village Appraisal was published in 2001.
• Most of the village is in a conservation area designated in 1972 and remaining the same in 2009 as shown on this plan.
• 51 houses are Grade II listed buildings. See the Design Statement for these houses.
• The Village Design Statement was adopted in 2008 and can be read in the following link. It is a large document and will take a minute or two to open.

Anyone contemplating a planning application or working on their land should read these Byelaws, Acts and Bills.

In November 2009 Charnwood Borough Council reviewed it's 'Enforcement Policy' which will soon be adopted.

The policy describes the way they will deal with complaints. It also provides links to the policies and guidance set by both the Government and the Borough Council that informs the way in which they make their decisions and judgements. The policy sets out targets for acknowledging and completing investigations of the complaints they receive and what their customers can expect to happen during those investigations.
